CAUTION CAN BE OVER-PLAYED

An anonymous poet wrote:
“There was a very cautious man who never laughed or played; he never risked, he
never tried, he never sang or prayed.  And when one day he passed away, his
insurance was denied; for since he never really lived, they claimed he never
            died.”
Does this describe anyone you know??

DARE TO TRY SOMETHING NEW

Fear of failure is one of the most significant stumbling blocks to growth and success---growth and success for individuals and for dental practices.  It is simply easier to do what you have always done.  It is safe and familiar.

The corporate world risks failure with every new venture, whether in manufacturing companies or  in service businesses.  Do these organizations always succeed?  No, but these enterprises realize that without taking an occasional risk, there is no chance of succeeding.

Think about this the next time you, the dentist, or a staff member suggests a positive change for your practice that may take some effort and seem a bit risky.  Put in the extra effort for the extra measure of success and pride of accomplishment.  Dare to do it!
