WHO SAID THAT?

Are you old enough to remember Archie Bunker (Actor Carol O’Conner) of 1970s TV fame? If not, perhaps you’ve heard of Archie and his infamous malapropisms and hideous grammar. “Archie-isms” can still bring a laugh.

“The Mets winnin’ the pennant.…that would be a miracle. Yeah….like the immaculate connection.”

“It’s just a pigment of your imagination.”

“It’s like tryin’ to make a sow’s purse outa silk!”

“I got nothin’ against mankind. It’s people I don’t trust.”

“It’s moments like this where the only thing that holds a marriage together is the husband bein’ big enough to step back and see where his wife is wrong.”

“Charity begins at home----and sometimes never leaves there!”
